2/21/19 First Meeting with 5th Graders!
We have begun a new thing!
Starting this year, we are meeting once a month with the Joyland 5th graders to get to know them better, prepare them for Youth Group, and have fun! ^^
The Joyland teachers (Eunice, Ohreum, Intae, and Esther) and Joyland 5th graders (Hayden, Sophia, Sylvie, Audrey) along with some new friends had a great time eating dinner together! Thank you to Hayden's mom for hosting and providing a wonderful dinner!
The kids were unusually hyper, but we all had lots of fun getting to know one another ~
While eating dinner, we shared some of our blessings from the week, and after we had several get-to-know-each-other games! Lastly, we got to play Soularium, where we shared our thoughts on life, future, and God.
It was a really fun and wholesome time together!^^
2/21/19 5학년 아이들과 첫 저녁 미팅!
새로운 미팅을 시작했습니다!
Youth Group으로 올라 가기 전에, 한달에 한번씩 5학년 아이들과 저녁을 같이 먹고 더 친해지려고 합니다.
조이랜드 선생님들과 5학년 학생들이 맛있는 저녁을 먹고 새로운 친구들과 즐거운 시간을 보냈습니다.
맛있는 음식을 준비해주시고 집을 open해 주신 헤이든 어머님께 감사드립니다!
첫 만남이라서 모르겠지만 학생들이 보통보다 더 즐거워했던것 같습니다. 그래도 서로에 대해 더 알게돼서 너무 좋은 시간이었습니다.
저녁을 함께 먹으면서, 서로의 한주간에 있었던 감사제목들을 나눴고 그다음엔 서로에 대해 알수있는 game을 했습니다. 마지막으로 Soularium이라는 activity를 하면서 현재 생각들, 미래에 소망들 그리고 하나님에 대한 생각들을 나눴습니다.
정말 즐거운 시간이었습니다!^^
