조이랜드 졸업소감문 [이은석/Nathan]

저는 유치부일때 이 교회에 처음 오게 되었습니다.  지금 뒤돌아 보니 저는 몸과 신앙심 모두 자란 것 

같습니다.  이전에 저는 교회는 그저 매 주일 가는 곳이라고만 생각하거나, 친구들과 놀러 가는 곳이라고 

생각했습니다. 지금도 여전히 주일마다 교회에 가고, 교회에서 친구들과 놀지만, 이제는 하나님에 대해서 

더욱 더 배워가기 위해 교회에 갑니다.

처음에 유스그룹으로 간다고 했을 땐 조금 겁도 났습니다. 그치만, 제 인생에 큰 의미를 갖게되는 시간이 

될 것 같아서 기대가 됩니다. 유스그룹에 가게 되는 것은 큰 특권이라고 생각합니다.  예전에 금요일마다 

교회에 왔을 때는 그저 부모님들이 오셔야 했기 때문이었습니다. 그때마다 전 그냥 놀 수 있는 시간이라고 

여겼지만, 점점 자라면서 나중에 유스그룹에서 하게 될 활동들을 미리 경험할 수 있는 좋은 기회라고

생각했습니다. 처음 유스그룹을 생각하면 어려울 것 같다는 생각도 들었지만, 몇번의 참여를 통해 

제 생각은 많이 바뀌었습니다.

목사님의 자녀로 사는 것에는 좋은점과 안좋은점이 있지만, 그 중 좋은 점은, 여러가지 활동을 미리 

체험하고, 미리 유스그룹 활동들을 경험한 것 처럼, 미래에 대한 준비를 할 수 있을 것 같아서 좋습니다.

저는 예전과 마찬가지로 스포츠를 정말 좋아합니다. 교회는 저에게 놀러가는 곳일 뿐이었기 때문에 스포츠를 하나님보다 먼저 생각했었습니다. 주일날만 하나님을 찾게 되었고, 그 전에는 하나님을 찾지 않았습니다. 

제가 학교를 포함한 여러가지 일들이 더 중요하다고 생각했기 때문입니다. 그러나 지금, 시온영락교회를 

다니며 많은 것들을 배웠습니다. 제일 중요한 것 한가지는 하나님을 최우선으로 생각하고, 하나님보다 더 

사랑하는 것은 없어야 한다는 것입니다. 스포츠보다 하나님을 더 많이 생각하는 것이 어려웠고, 하나님과 

교회가 학교보다 먼저 인것을 알게 되었지만, 지금은 점점 더 그렇게 되어가고 있는 것 같습니다.

When I first came to this church, I was in kindergarten. When I look back into my church life, I think I've grown both physically and spiritually. I think this because I used to think church was just a place I went to every Sunday. I also used to go to church just to play with friends. Now, I still like playing with friends at church, I still try to come to church every Sunday, but know, I also come to church to learn more and more about God. 

I was a little afraid at first when I was going to the youth group,  but I was also a little excited because this was going to be a big time in my life. Going to youth group was a big honor to be granted. Before, I used to go come to church on Fridays because my parents had to come. I thought that it was a time I came to play, but as I grew older, I started to realize that coming on Fridays would be a chance for me to actually participate with the youth group and start to practice for the future. Youth group seemed really hard at first, but I thought different after a few meetings. 

There are many ups and downs of being the pastor’s son. One good thing is that you get chances to participate in activities that prepare you for the future like participating in youth group activities. 

I used to be a big sports fan, and I am still one know. I used to put sports before God. I did this because church didn’t really matter to me before because all I did was play. I also used to only think about God on Sundays and rarely Friday. This was because I thought that I had more important things to do including school. Over the years in ZionYoungnak Church, I have learned a lot of things. One important thing is to never put anything before God. It was hard to put God before sports, and realize that God and church was before school, but I got a lot better now.
